To be completely honest, I haven't done any research papers, that's the seniors work.
If I developed an argument, I would support this thesis by looking up quotes to back my thesis up.

☾*Writing Experience*☽
I developed my writing style my freshman year by my teacher, Dr. Light German. She use to be a professor here at TLU and UT before she began her own school, Huntington Surrey. Light taught composition class until half way through my junior year. I learned so much from her, and she let us free write most of the time.. Light hired a new composition teacher, Amy Gentry. Amy had me write about very uncomfortable experiences and forced me to share them to the class.

I automatically knew who wrote this by the moons in the title. I love how your English department really supports organic thought and growing as an individual in your writing instead of being forced to stick to rigid guidelines. Though waiting until senior year to do a research paper can have the drawback of not being as prepared to write them when you get to college. Just my thoughts.
