Blog 2: Persona that was created

The persona of the implied author is someone that is familiar with what they are talking about; they researched their topic to help get their argument across, and are passionate about the topic they are addressing. When someone is up-to-date on a topic it helps the paper be more convincing, and when a paper is convincing there is a really high chance that the paper was well written. In matter of fact, when a convincing paper is well written there is a chance that the writer is confident in what they have written and they have an excellent argument. That was the persona I was trying to get across because I am the type of writer who likes to use notable sources when it comes to trying to argue a point across. If notable sources are used it makes your argument look more professional and be more convincing and interesting.

  1. I love that you use notable sources! I think that makes the paper so much better (like you said.. "more professional and be more convincing and interesting").. You're such a good writer, and I can see that you have such a passion for it!

  2. I really enjoyed reading your paper. You did come off as someone who really knew their stuff. Before I met you, I admit I didn’t think very highly of Texas Tech. You’ve definitely changed all of my preconceived notions. I feel like a jerk for thinking poorly of the school now.
