I enjoyed my time here, a lot more than I thought I would.. My grandma told me that I would be going to class with a bunch of hardcore Christian kids, and that I wouldn't fit in with them being all tattooed, buddhist, nose pierced and the fact that I wear my boots everyday. Obviously, she was wrong. I made so many wonderful friends here. I definitely faced my fears here (singing in front of people) and actually talked to people. I will definitely never forget Phoebe and her hilarious expressions, art talent and overall kindness to me. When I first met KJ, I knew we'd be friends, and it happened to be so. We share a lot of the same views on life. I think that's awesome, because I don't share that with anyone! Leslie and I bonded over Austin, (TX). She also happens to remind me of my childhood friend, Alex, so I was very comforted being around her. Lucas and I bonded over music and skins, of course. And lastly, my amazing roommate, NaTane. I feel like this experience really brought out my artistic side, seeing I've been kinda shy with singing and art. I definitely want to take art more seriously, and maybe even begin taking classes!

I don't really do first impressions-- seriously, I don't do that "at first I thought you'd be super quiet" thing-- but when I first saw you I thought "I could be friends with that girl. She looks like a fun person." You are absolutely amazing, and I'm really glad you came and I got to meet you!
